- Carcavelos towards Lisbon possible to arrive by train from Cascais, bars and restaurants overlooking the beach
- North of Cascais explore the areas of Colares, Praia Grande or Azenhas do Mar and its natural sea swimming pool. Or visit the furthest Westerly point of mainland Europe and the light house at Cabo da Roca
- Sintra, a magical town with its romantic Disney-like Pena Palace, wonderful views over the coast and surrounding areas
